This is the box that fixes the noise floor on a desktop. The fourth-generation Scarlett preamp has 69dB of gain, which is plenty for a dynamic mic without cranking anything, and Air mode adds the presence lift and harmonic drive the original ISA preamps were loved for. Auto Gain sets your level with one button, Clip Safe pulls the gain back if you push too hard, and the converters run to 24-bit/192kHz with 111dB of dynamic range. It is bus powered over USB-C, so there is no wall wart taking up a socket, and a proper software bundle is included so you can be recording the same evening.
